Banda was the outlet on the left, repeatedly running at Verona and drawing three fouls as Lecce chased a winner. He produced two of Lecce's six efforts on target and forced Lorenzo Montipo into his best first-half stop. His dribbling stretched Verona but the final cross never found a finish. That said, Banda looked like one of the best players on the field and confirmed his growing role for Lecce since starting the last three games on the left wing.
