Lucas Paqueta

Paqueta had a year to forget across the board, managing just four goals without an assist in 2024/25. He still created 36 chances, so it's not that he wasn't getting involved in attacking moves, but finishing proved to be an issue throughout the team. Paqueta still shot the ball at a similar rate to previous years (41 times last season), but his role changed no matter the manager, and that led to some starts as a false none and others as a defensive midfielder. If used correctly in a team that has the talent to improve, Paqueta could get back to the 10 goal contributions he had two seasons ago.
