Leonard will spend the upcoming season on loan with Northhampton Town from Brighton & Hove Albion, the team announced Monday.

ANALYSIS
Leonard has made just two appearances for the Brighton senior squad in the 2021-22 EFL Cup. Instead, the midfielder played in 22 games for the U21 setup in Premier League 2, where he garnered four goals and three assists. Leonard could make his case to be part of the Brighton squad moving forward with some first-team football for Northampton.
