2025 Fantasy Outlook
Farsi didn't score a goal across his first two MLS campaigns but broke out with four during the 2024 season, finishing the campaign with a career-high six goal contributions. He served as the team's first-choice right midfielder for the second straight season and has 10 goal contributions in 50 starts in that role. He's set to play the same role in 2025, however, his ceiling may be limited. Columbus funnels more attacks on the left side of the pitch with Max Arfsten and although Farsi still has plenty of opportunities, that limits his upside. He also took just 13 shots during the 2024 campaign, so his four goals could be an outlier. While it's possible he can replicate his production of the past two seasons, there doesn't seem to be a path for him to improve those numbers significantly.
Officially out
Farsi (pelvis) is out for Saturday's clash with Cincinnati, per the MLS injury report.
ANALYSIS
Farsi is still out for Saturday's clash after training alone earlier in the week. The midfielder has missed every match since July and clearly isn't fit enough for a return. There's a hope that Farsi would have a chance to return if Columbus can make a deeper run in the playoffs.
