Jackers (ribs) returned to action as a substitute during Friday's league clash against La Louviere.

Jackers suffered two broken ribs without additional damage and will be out of action for about six weeks, according to the club.

Jackers suffered a severe knock to his chest right before the final whistle in Wednesdays 3-0 loss against Sporting CP before being transferred to the hospital, coach Nicky Hayen said in a press conference, according to Sporza. "The knock was violent. It had an important impact on his sternum. He had difficulty reacting to the initial contact with the medical team, but his condition subsequently improved. He was not feeling well, but he was conscious. We are currently conducting further examinations and tests to rule out certain hypothesis."

Jackers registered four saves and allowed three goals in Wednesday's 3-3 draw versus Barcelona.
