Samu has been heavily linked to a transfer out of Madrid, with an initial transfer to Chelsea falling through before agreeing on terms to join Portuguese side FC Porto. He served much of last season on loan with Alaves, starting in 21 of his 34 appearances while notching eight goals on 64 shots and one assist on 16 chances created. He is likely to see much more time with his new club, probably seeing anywhere from a rotational to a starting role once integrated with the squad.
