Corbeanu has joined Toronto FC on loan from Granada for the 2025 Major League Soccer season, with an option to purchase, the club announced. Toronto FC General Manager Jason Hernandez expressed excitement about the move, stating, "We are very happy to welcome Theo to Toronto FC. As one of our highly talented Academy prospects, we have continued to track his journey in Europe and are excited to have this opportunity to work together again."

ANALYSIS
Corbeanu spent the past two seasons with Spanish club Granada CF, making 22 appearances across all competitions. Before his time in Spain, he spent three years in the Toronto FC Academy before joining the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy in 2018, where he played for the U18, U21, and U23 teams. Corbeanu made history as the youngest Canadian to feature in the Premier League at the time, debuting for Wolves against Tottenham Hotspur on May 2021. He has earned seven caps for the Canadian Men's National Team, including appearances in FIFA World Cup qualifiers (Concacaf) and the Concacaf Gold Cup. He is expected to provide quality depth in Toronto's front line this season.
