Kai Havertz
Increases load on knee
F/MArsenal
OUT
September 12, 2025
Havertz (knee) has increased the load this week and could be back in a few weeks, coach Mikel Arteta said in the press conference. "Yeah, he's looking really good, he's walking freely. He's starting to load the knee and started to do some bits. As I said before, I think we're taking it from weeks to months. But knowing Kai, I cannot give you any time scale because I know what he's going to try to do. So I think he's in a good moment. It was a very tough decision for him to go and have that procedure done. But I think it was necessary and it was the right decision from the medical team to persuade him to do that."

Gabriel Jesus
Aiming return in December
FArsenal
OUT
September 12, 2025
Jesus (knee) is aiming a return between December and January, coach Mikel Arteta said in the press conference. "He had a major surgery that it was going to take him many, many months. So, after discussing that with the medical staff and understanding the schedule that we had and when we thought that he could be available, that it would be between December and January, we decided to make that call. Like we've done it in the past with other players. Hopefully, we did it wrong and he comes back earlier. But at the moment, the provision was very clear."

William Saliba
Suffers ankle injury
DArsenal

September 1, 2025
Saliba has twisted his ankle during the warmups of Sunday's 1-0 loss against Liverpool and will miss the international break with France to recover, coach Mikel Arteta confirmed the issue in a press conference. "He twisted his ankle during the warm-up, and he came in and he said he believed that he could carry on and play, but straight away in the first two actions. I could see that he couldn't cope, and we had to get him out unfortunately. But thank God we had Mosquera, which we put in for the first time in the Premier League. His debut, not expecting it at Anfield, and I think he was really, really good. I am [worried] because you cannot play a game of that stature. After you tried [to], that means that there is something wrong."
