Today's NBA betting slate features exploitable player props and spread opportunities. Collin Sexton and Kon Knueppel should rack up stats against New Orleans' third-worst defense without LaMelo Ball available. Paolo Banchero targets Atlanta's fourth-worst rebounding defense. The Thunder appear positioned to dominate the Clippers on the second night of back-to-back.

Collin Sexton over 5.5 assists (-165) at New Orleans Pelicans
BetMGM, 4:16 PM CT
Alex Barutha: The Pelicans have been horrible defensively, allowing the third-most points per 48 minutes (123.7) and the 7th-most assists (28.0). LaMelo Ball (ankle) is out, which should put the ball in Sexton's hands more. Per 36 minutes without Ball or Brandon Miller (shoulder) on the court, Sexton is averaging 10.3 assists.
Paolo Banchero O12.5 AST+REB at Atlanta Hawks (-118)
DraftKings, 10:58 AM CT
Nick Whalen: While it's been an up-and-down start to the season for the Magic, Banchero has had no trouble racking up counting stats. Over his last five games, he's averaging 9.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game, going over this 12.5 number in each of his last three. We do, of course, have to note that Banchero struggled against the Hawks in their first meeting on Oct. 24 — 11pts, 6reb, 1ast in 36 minutes — but I like this as a bounceback spot with the Magic seeking their third straight win. Atlanta is giving up the fourth-most rebounds per game and ranks 26th in DRB% thus far.
Kon Knueppel O2.5 threes at New Orleans Pelicans (-130)
DraftKings, 10:58 AM CT
Nick Whalen: This is low-hanging fruit with Knueppel coming off of another strong effort against Utah over the weekend, but it's tough to ignore the early trends with the Pelicans defense — which currently ranks as the second-worst in NBA history, behind only the Nets (as in, this year's Nets). Beyond the horrendous DRTG, the Pels are giving up the second-most three-point attempts per game (43.7). Knueppel has gone over this number in five of seven games and has taken at least eight threes in four of those.
OKC Thunder -9.5 at LA Clippers (-110)
DraftKings Sportsbook - 3:10 p.m. CT
Kirien Sprecher: I'm 1-1 in this column after easily hitting Alperen Sengun over 37 PRA on Monday night. The Clippers are playing on the second night of a back-to-back and won't have Kawhi Leonard or Bradley Beal. Their only wins this season have come against the Suns, Blazers and Pelicans, and the only team they've played so far that is expected to make the playoffs is the Warriors, who won by 19. The Thunder are historically good, and I'm expecting the train to keep rolling, even if they're down multiple starters again.
Nikola Vucevic O13.5 Rebounds + Assists (-109) vs. Philadelphia 76ers
DraftKings, 12:06 PM CT
Jeremy Schneider: Vucevic has continued his dominance on the glass this season, averaging 12.3 rebounds per game — a number consistent with his career-long prowess in that area. What's also worth noting is his improved playmaking, as he's averaging 4.3 assists per game, which would mark a career high. The veteran center has surpassed the 13.5 mark in four of six games this season with rebounds alone, and with his added passing contributions, this feels like a strong bet overall.
