Team Analysis
Defense to avoid: Cleveland Cavaliers, at TOR - Since yesterday's article ran, Kyle Lowry has been declared doubtful to play Sunday. Thus, the Cavaliers have an even better chance to hold down the Raptors' offense and close out the series. Individuals like DeMar DeRozan, Jonas Valanciunas and/or Cory Joseph could still be useful individuals for DFS purposes, but as a team, the Raptors have the worst offensive prospects on this slate.
Offense to Use: Washington Wizards vs BOS - This series has been the most offensive of the three Sunday, and the home team has won all seven games between these two teams this year. The Wizards blew out the Celtics in Game 3, so if they bounce back in Game 4, that should make the game more competitive and could produce a higher point total.
Player Recommendations
James Harden, HOU vs SA ($10,900): Harden scored 43 points with five assists, five treys, three steals and two boards in 40 minutes of a Game 3 loss to the Spurs at home Friday. On Sunday, the Rockets will be in a must-win game, at home, and Harden will be expected to lead them to victory. He has averaged 56.4 fantasy points in seven games against the Spurs this season.
DeMar DeRozan, TOR vs CLE ($8000): With Kyle Lowry doubtful to play, all of the pressure to produce will fall on the shoulders of DeRozan. DeRozan produced 50 fantasy points in this role in Game 3, and showed the ability to consistently produce on that level for stretches in the regular season when Lowry was out. DeRozan's been inconsistent in the playoffs, but he has massive upside on Sunday.
Cory Joseph, TOR vs CLE ($4000): Joseph scored 20.8 fantasy points last game after putting up 35 in 25 minutes Wednesday. Given Lowry's status, Joseph should have another chance at decent production in Game 4.
LeBron James, CLE at TOR ($12,200): James scored 56 fantasy points in Game 3, is averaging 59.2 in three games against the Raptors, and averaged closer to 70 in the first round against the Pacers.
Otto Porter, WAS vs BOS ($6100): Porter scored 37.5 fantasy points in Game 3 against the Celtics, has averaged more than 36 fantasy points this series. Including the regular season, he averaged 35.5 in seven games against them
Trevor Ariza, HOU vs SA ($4900): Ariza bounced back from a terrible Game 2 with 17 points, five rebounds, five assists, five treys and a steal in 46 minutes in Game 3. Ariza has had quite a bit of success against the Spurs this season, averaging 28.8 fantasy points in seven games.
Al Horford, BOS at WAS ($7500): Horford scored only 28 fantasy points in 27 minutes of a blowout loss in Game 3, but has averaged 39 fantasy points in 33 minutes over his last five. He has also averaged 38.6 fantasy points in six games against the Raptors this season, making him a good bounce-back candidate for Game 4.
Marcin Gortat, WAS vs BOS ($6700): Gortat scored 38 fantasy points in Game 3, and is averaging almost 40 fantasy points per game for the series. He's averaged 30.7 fantasy points in 31.3 minutes in seven games against the Celtics this season, and with his size and strength, he just seems to match up well against their smaller frontline.
Clint Capela, HOU vs SA ($5100): Capela scored 12 points with 16 rebounds, five blocks and three steals in around 31 minutes in Game 3. He is now averaging 36.4 fantasy points in his last four playoff games.
