NBA Pick'Em Today

Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets: Jamal Shead over 10.5 points + assists, Sleeper, 1 PM CT

Even though Shead will continue to come off the bench for the Raptors for the foreseeable future, his recent performances and this favorable matchup make this line very attractive. The second-year floor general is averaging 6.4 points and 5.0 assists across 17.4 minutes per game, so he's been delivering at an excellent rate considering his playing time. His consistency as a passer stands out. Shead has dished out five or more assists in six of his 10 appearances to date, while he's had at least four dimes in all but one game. He's also scored at least six points seven times, so the numbers are telling. If Shead plays even somewhere close to his per-season averages, he shouldn't have problems reaching this mark. The fact that he'll be facing a slumping Nets team that has shown major deficiencies on the defensive side of the ball suggests that the former Houston standout shouldn't have a lot of problems making an impact when his name gets called by the coaching staff.

Denver Nuggets vs. Sacramento Kings: Domantas Sabonis over 28.5 points + rebounds, PrizePicks, 1 PM CT

Sabonis is listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup due to a rib injury, but if his previous trends are any indication, the big man should suit up and handle his regular workload against the Nuggets. He's coming off a 20-point, 13-rebound performance against the Timberwolves on Sunday in what was his return after a two-game absence. Sabonis' consistency levels are almost unmatched in The Association, as the star big man has notched seven double-doubles in seven regular-season appearances so far in 2025-26. He's recorded at least 29 points + rebounds in each of his last four appearances and at least 28 in his previous five, so there's undoubtedly a solid floor for this P+R line. Even if he has to deal with the matchup of Nikola Jokic, Sabonis should be able to hit this line Tuesday as long as he handles his regular workload.

Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76ers: VJ Edgecombe under 20.5 points + rebounds, Underdog, 1 PM CT

Edgecombe turned heads during his NBA debut after scoring 34 points across 42 minutes in the win over the Celtics on Oct. 22. However, the book is out on the former Baylor standout, and it's clear that opposing defenses are beginning to adjust to him. On the same note, Edgecombe has found it hard to make the necessary adjustments, and the numbers back him up. He's coming off an 11-point, six-rebound performance against the Pistons on Nov. 9, but it was a game in which he went 3-for-9 from the floor and 1-for-2 from three-point range. It also marked Edgecombe's fourth straight game in which he couldn't reach the 15-point mark, and the third consecutive outing where he couldn't hit the mark of 20.5 points + rebounds. Furthermore, the rookie has failed to reach that 20.5 P+R line in five of his last seven appearances. Don't be surprised if he falls short once again, as the Celtics should have a better idea of how to slow him down compared to the season opener a few weeks ago.
