Slumping Raptors Host Streaking Nets
The Toronto Raptors play host to the Brooklyn Nets at Scotiabank Arena on Friday evening.

The Raptors (13-15) have dropped three in a row and four of their last five games. They hope to get back on track facing the second game of a three-game home stand, with the chance to add to their 10-4 home record. Pascal Siakam leads the team, averaging 24.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game. Fred VanVleet is averaging 18.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.8 steals, while Scottie Barnes is averaging 14.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. O.G. Anunoby (hip) missed the last two games and is expected to remain out, along with Precious Achiuwa (ankle) and Otto Porter (toe). The Raptors average 111.3 points per game, and they are holding opponents to an average of 110.5 points.

Meanwhile, the Nets (17-12) have won four in a row and eight of their last nine games. They look to keep it rolling as they face the third game of a four-game road trip, with the chance to improve on their 7-7 road record. Kevin Durant leads the team, averaging 30.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.7 blocks, in 37 minutes per game. Kyrie Irving averages 25.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.1 blocks, while Nicolas Claxton is averaging 11.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.2 blocks per game. Royce O"Neale (personal) is listed as questionable, while Patty Mills (illness) is listed as doubtful for Friday's action. The Spurs average 110.2 points per game, which is fourth fewest in the league, and they are giving up a league-high 120.4 points.
