Grizzlies and Mavericks Clash in Big D
The Memphis Grizzlies take on the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on Monday night.

The Grizzlies (40-26) are still working through the ongoing absence of Ja Morant due to a recent off-court incident, but they'll check into Monday's game with two consecutive wins. Their most recent success came Saturday night, when they toppled the Mavericks by a 112-108 score. Desmond Bane led the Grizzlies with 25 points, complementing them with eight assists and seven rebounds. David Roddy posted 24 points, four rebounds, two steals and one block. Jaren Jackson registered 14 points, seven boards and two blocks. Xavier Tillman supplied 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. Tyus Jones generated an 11-point, 10-assist double-double that included four rebounds and one steal. Santi Aldama produced 10 points, five rebounds, one assist and one block.

The Grizzlies will remain without Morant, Steven Adams (knee) and Brandon Clarke (Achilles) for Monday's game. Jake LaRavia (back) and Vince Williams (shoulder) will carry questionable tags.

The Mavericks' (34-34) loss to the Grizzlies was their third in the last four games and came without both Luka Doncic (thigh) and Kyrie Irving (foot) available. Against Memphis, Tim Hardaway led Dallas with 23 points, adding six rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Jaden Hardy offered 22 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal. Josh Green generated a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double that included four assists. Christian Wood netted 14 points.

The Mavericks will remain without Doncic for Monday's game. Irving will carry a questionable tag.

Monday's game marks the third of four meetings between the teams this season. The series is tied 1-1.
