Rockets Aiming To Extend Winning Run, Visit Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets will host the Houston Rockets at Ball Arena on Monday.

The Nuggets (12-7) are coming off a 114-104 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, and that means they’ve won two in a row and three of their last four. They were led by Aaron Gordon, accruing 29 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Jamal Murray amassed 21 points, six rebounds and nine assists. Nikola Jokic collected 19 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and two steals, while Bruce Brown tallied eight points, four rebounds and four assists. Denver has also gone 4-2 at home this season.

Michael Porter (heel) and Bones Hyland (illness) are both game-time calls for Sunday, while Collin Gillespie (lower leg) and Jeff Green (knee) are ruled out.

The Rockets (5-14) remain one of the worst teams in the league, but things are headed on the right direction, it seems. Houston is riding its first winning streak of the season, as the 118-105 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder means the team has won two in a row for the first time in the current campaign. Jalen Green led the Rockets with 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting, two rebounds and nine assists, in 34 minutes. Alperen Sengun followed up with 21 points, 19 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks. Jabari Smith totaled 15 points, 13 rebounds and a block, while Kevin Porter finished with 16 points, three rebounds, six assists and a steal. The Rockets own a 2-9 record on the road this season.

Jae’Sean Tate (ankle) and Bruno Fernando (knee) are both game-time calls for Monday.
