Warriors Aim To Stay Hot, Visit Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Golden State Warriors at Target Center on Sunday.

The Timberwolves (10-9) are coming off a 110-108 loss against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. Anthony Edwards was the best player for Minnesota since he ended up with 25 points, five rebounds and four assists, while D’Angelo Russell racked up with 20 points, 10 assists and four rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns ended with 19 points, five assists and four rebounds, and Rudy Gobert finished with 17 points, 17 rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one assist. The loss against the Hornets snapped Minnesota’s winning streak at five games, but they’ve still gone 4-1 in its last five.

Jordan McLaughlin (calf) is a game-time decision for Sunday’s game, while Taurean Prince (shoulder) is out.

The Warriors (10-10) are coming off a 129-118 win over the Utah Jazz on Friday. They were led by Stephen Curry, who tallied 33 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Klay Thompson finished with 20 points and six boards. Andrew Wiggins accrued 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three steals, while Draymond Green accumulated 13 points, three rebounds, five assists and two blocks. Kevon Looney also had 10 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. Jordan Poole led the bench with 19 points, four rebounds and six assists. Golden State has won two games in a row and four of its last five.

The Warriors are close to being at full strength, with Andre Iguodala (hip) being the only confirmed absentee.
