Bulls and Jazz Tangle in Utah
The Chicago Bulls take on the Utah Jazz at Vivint Arena on Monday night.

The Bulls (8-11) have plenty of talent, but they've nevertheless been trending in the wrong direction of late with losses in six of their last eight games. Their most recent stumble came in their last time on the floor, when they fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a 123-119 score in overtime on Friday night. DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 30 points, adding six assists, four rebounds and two steals. Zach LaVine delivered 27 points, five rebounds, five assists and one steal. Nikola Vucevic generated a 13-point, 13-rebound double-double that included three assists. Alex Caruso turned in 12 points, four assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block. Patrick Williams registered 11 points, six rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

The Bulls will list Caruso (ankle) as doubtful for Monday's game.

The Jazz (12-10) opened the season as one of the biggest surprises in either conference, but they'll enter Monday's interconference clash having dropped four straight games. Their most recent loss was an exceedingly narrow one, as they dropped a 113-112 decision to the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night. Malik Beasley delivered 14 points, five rebounds and four assists. Nickeil Alexander-Walker poured in 12 points, while Kelly Olynk compiled 10 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.

The Jazz will list Markkanen (knee), Mike Conley (lower leg) and Leandro Bolmaro (concussion) as questionable at best for Monday's contest.

Monday's game marks the first of two meetings between the teams this season. The two teams split the two-game 2021-22 regular-season series.
