Suns and Kings Clash in Cali
The Phoenix Suns take on the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center on Monday night.

The Suns (13-6) check into Monday's game in strong form, as they've rattled off four consecutive wins despite the ongoing absences of two starters. Phoenix's most recent success came Saturday night, when they atoned for a narrow loss earlier in the season by edging the Utah Jazz, 113-112. DeAndre Ayton led the Suns with a 29-point, 21-rebound double-double that included three assists, two blocks and one steal. Devin Booker generated a 27-point, 11-rebound double-double that included seven assists. Mikal Bridges supplied 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal. Cameron Payne furnished 11 points, six assists and one steal. Torrey Craig registered 10 points, seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

The Suns will remain without Chris Paul (heel) and Cameron Johnson (knee) for Monday's game.

The Kings (10-8) have been competitive in nearly every game they've played this season, but they'll come into Monday's game having dropped consecutive games by a total of 27 points. Their most recent stumble came Friday night, when they fell to the Boston Celtics by a 122-104 score. De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 20 points, adding four rebounds and two assists. Domantas Sabonis generated an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double that included six assists. Davion Mitchell delivered 13 points. Harrison Barnes finished with 12 points, five boards and one assist.

The Kings will come into Monday's game without any injuries to report.

Monday's game marks the first of four meetings between the teams this season. The two teams split the four-game 2021-22 regular-season series.
