Spurs Win Second Straight, Top Heat
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat, 115-111, at FTX Arena on Saturday.

The Spurs (8-18) had to work quite hard and had to bounce back from an early start, but they managed to secure the victory against the Heat (12-15) despite playing on rival court. Miami looked good in the early going and raced out to a 29-25 lead in the first quarter, but the Spurs bounced back and secure the halftime advantage by posting a 34-28 score in the second quarter. The third quarter ended with a 27-27 tie, and while the Heat work quite hard in the final minutes, ultimately the Spurs closed the game out with a 24-27 score in the fourth quarter. With the win, the Spurs moved to 4-8 on the road while the Heat fell to 9-6 at home.

Kelvin Johnson led the way for the Spurs with 21 points, six rebounds and two assists, while Romeo Langford finished with 19 points and six rebounds. Zach Collins delivered 16 points and eight rebounds, while Tre Jones ended with 10 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals. Devin Vassell had 18 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals off the bench. Doug McDermott recorded 13 points and five assists.

Jimmy Butler had 30 points and four assists for the Heat, while Tyler Herro ended with 23 points, five rebounds and five assists. Bam Adebayo had 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists, while Kyle Lowry ended with 12 points, seven assists, three rebounds and two steals. Caleb Martin had 14 points, and Victor Oladipo ended with 11 points, three rebounds and three assists.
