Raptors Notch Second Straight Win
The Toronto Raptors defeated the visting Cleveland Cavaliers, 100-88, at Scotiabank Arena on Monday evening.

The game got out to a competitive start as the Raptors led 26-24 after one quarter. The hosts kept the offense rolling and turned up the defense in the second where they outscored the Cavs 26-19, to take a nine-point lead into the break. The Raptors kept the momentum going in the third and added another four points to their advantage, making it a 13-point lead into the final frame. The hosts rallied to a game-high 20-point lead mid way through the fourth and cruised the rest of the way to a second straight win.

O.G. Anunoby led the way for the Raptors with 20 points, two assists, a steal and a block, in 37 minutes. Pascal Siakam tallied 18 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, while Gary Trent chipped in 14 points, seven rebounds and a steal. The Raptors shot 44 percent from the field, including 12-of-28 from long range.

Meanwhile, Darius Garland logged 18 points, four rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and a block, and Evan Mobley finished with 18 points, 15 rebounds, two blocks and a steal to lead the Cavs. No other player scored in double digits for the Cavs, but Cedi Osman and Robin Lopez added nine points each. The Cavs shot 38 percent from the field, including 7-of-38 from deep.

The Cavs (13-8) will look to bounce back as they play host to the 76ers on Wednesday. The Raptors (11-9) take on the Pelicans in New Orleans on Wednesday.
