Mavericks Top Warriors As Doncic Dominates
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Golden State Warriors, 116-113, at American Airlines Center on Tuesday.

The Mavericks (10-10) and the Warriors (11-11) played a tight game that went down to the wire, but in the end, the Mavericks ended securing the victory. Dallas looked good in the early going and raced out to a 36-24 lead in the first quarter, but the Warriors responded with a strong defensive effort, limiting Dallas to just 19 points and winning the second quarter by a 30-19 score. Dallas won the third quarter by a 37-33 score and looked in control, but the Warriors kept fighting and won the final quarter by a 26-24 score. Ultimately, though, that was not enough for Golden State and Dallas ended up with the win.

Luka Doncic posted his league-leading fifth triple-double of the season and finished with 41 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. Tim Hardaway delivered 22 points and four rebounds, and Spencer Dinwiddie finished with 14 points and two assists. No other Dallas starter scored in double digits, but Josh Green posted 12 points coming off the bench.

Stephen Curry finished with 32 points, five rebounds and five assists to lead the Warriors in this loss. No other Golden State player scored more than 20 points. Jonathan Kuminga had a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double off the bench, while Draymond Green posted 12 points, six rebounds and four assists. Andrew Wiggins had 10 points, and Kevon Looney ended with 11 points and six rebounds. Klay Thompson struggled badly and only had five points while shooting 2-for-9 from the field.
