Pelicans Get Past Pistons, 104-98
The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Detroit Pistons, 104-98, at Smoothie King Center on Wednesday night.

The Pistons (7-19) came into the contest riding high from a shocking 20-point win over the Miami Heat in South Florida 24 hours earlier, and early on, there seemed to be no letdown. Alec Burks supplied 14 points, two rebounds and one assist. Jalen Duren and Jaden Ivey posted matching 12-point efforts, with Duren also pulling down 13 rebounds.
