Jazz Defeat Warriors, 124-123
The Utah Jazz defeated the visiting Golden State Warriors, 124-123, at Vivint Arena on Wednesday.

There were 10 ties and six lead changes in this game, with Utah scoring the final five points in the closing 7.8 seconds to prevail. The Warriors had two turnovers and two missed free throws in the closing 20 seconds, with Utah hitting a fastbreak lay-up off a turnover with 1.4 seconds left to take a 124-123 lead. The Jazz shot 54 percent from the field and 43 percent from three-point range while holding the Warriors to 46 percent from the field and 33 percent from long range. Utah also outscored Golden State in the paint, 60-50.

The Warriors (13-13) were led by Jordan Poole, providing 36 points, four rebounds and eight assists. Klay Thompson collected 22 points, two rebounds, three assists and three blocks. Jonathan Kuminga led the bench with 24 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Donte DiVincenzo amassed seven points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

The Jazz (15-12) were led by Jordan Clarkson, collecting 22 points, four rebounds and nine assists before an ejection in the final minute. Malik Beasley totaled 18 points and three rebounds. Collin Sexton departed with a hamstring injury but still finished with 17 points and three assists. Walker Kessler compiled 10 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks, while Simone Fontecchio led the bench with 18 points. He also hit that game-winning lay-up.

On deck for Utah is a home matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. As for Golden State, they return to action on Saturday when they play host to the Boston Celtics.
