Warriors Defeat Rockets, 120-101
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Houston Rockets, 120-101, at Chase Center on Saturday.

A 39-23 first quarter set the foundation for Golden State in this blowout victory, winning this game in wire-to-wire fashion. They got their lead up to 25 points at times and held a double-digit lead for over 30 minutes. Golden State shot 53 percent from the field and 48 percent from three-point range (25-of-52) while holding Houston to 44 percent from the field and 11 percent from long distance (3-of-28). The Warriors also doubled up the Rockets in assists, 34-17,

The Rockets (6-17) were led by Kevin Porter Jr, providing 20 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals. KJ Martin amassed 13 points and seven boards. Jalen Green missed 13 of his 19 shots to finish with 13 points and three assists. Tari Eason led the bench with 13 points and 10 boards.

The Warriors (13-11) were led by Andrew Wiggins, accruing 36 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals on 14-of-19 from the field. Stephen Curry collected 30 points, three rebounds and 10 assists. Jordan Poole started and totaled 21 points, two rebounds and five assists, while Kevon Looney had nine points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Draymond Green tallied three points, six rebounds and six assists.

Both teams return to action on Monday, with Golden State remaining home to play the Indiana Pacers and Houston returning home to face the Philadelphia 76ers.
