Knicks Cruise To Easy Win Over Pistons
The New York Knicks defeated the Detroit Pistons, 140-110, at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday.

The Knicks (10-11) came close to a .500 record with an impressive performance, as they didn't have problems getting past a struggling Pistons (5-17) squad. New York grabbed an early lead and led by eight points following the first quarter (40-32), but they would pull away for good in the second quarter after notching a 30-24 score to build a double-digit lead at halftime. The Knicks didn't show down and outscored their rivals by a massive 38-21 margin in the third quarter, meaning the game was all but over with 12 minutes left. The Knicks ended up cruising their way in the fourth quarter to win by an expressive 30-point margin.

Julius Randle had an impressive performance for the Knicks and ended with 36 points, but he also added seven rebounds and five assists. Three different starters scored at last 16 points in Jalen Brunson, RJ Barrett and Quentin Grimes. Brunson also had five assists, Barrett notched four boards and three dimes, and Grimes pulled down six boards. Immanuel Quickley returned off the bench and posted a strong 15-point game while also adding four assists.

Isaiah Stewart was the best player for the Pistons here since he ended with 19 points and five rebounds, while both Bojan Bogdanovic and Marvin Bagley III finished with 13-point performances, with Bagley III also adding seven rebounds and two assists. Killian Hayes finished with 11 points and six assists. Saddiq Bey and Cory Joseph both ended up with 11-point performances.
