Pacers Defeat Lakers, 116-115
The Indiana Pacers defeated the host Los Angeles Lakers, 116-115, at Crypto.com Arena on Monday.

While there were nine ties and 10 lead changes in the first half, there was only one tie and one lead change in the second half. That final lead change came on the final shot, with Andrew Nembhard hitting a game-winning three at the buzzer for the Pacers. The Lakers actually had a game-high 17-point lead in the fourth quarter, but the Pacers closed on a 32-14 run over the closing 9:26 to prevail. Indiana recorded 29 assists to nine turnovers, while Los Angeles had 23 assists to 14 turnovers. They also outscored the Lakers in second-chance points, 23-14, and in fastbreak scoring, 23-9.

The Pacers (12-8) were led by Tyrese Haliburton, collecting 24 points, seven rebounds and 14 assists. Aaron Nesmith amassed 16 points and four boards. Myles Turner tallied 15 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and three blocks, while Buddy Hield had 15 points and four rebounds. Benedict Mathurin led the bench with 23 points and eight boards.

The Lakers (7-12) were led by Anthony Davis, accruing 25 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and four blocks. LeBron James finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Lonnie Walker totaled nine points, four rebounds and two assists, while Russell Westbrook led the bench with 24 points, four rebounds and six assists.

Indiana has another road game on Wednesday, traveling to face the Sacramento Kings. The Lakers also return to action on Wednesday, playing host to the Portland Trail Blazers.
