Suns Defeat Kings, 122-117
The Phoenix Suns defeated the host Sacramento Kings, 122-117, at Golden 1 Center on Monday.

There were 16 ties and 11 lead changes in this close-fought game, with neither team leading by more than 10 points. With that said, Phoenix went on a 9-0 run with three minutes remaining to grab that game-high 10-point lead. Sacramento responded with seven unanswered points but never tied or recaptured the lead. A 28-20 third quarter allowed Phoenix to hold the lead for all but two minutes in the second half. The Suns out-rebounded the Kings, 49-38. Both teams shot over 52 percent from the field.

The Suns (14-6) were led by Devin Booker, tallying 44 points, eight rebounds, four assists and six steals. Deandre Ayton amassed 17 points and 12 rebounds. Mikal Bridges generated 13 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three blocks, while Damion Lee led the bench with 15 points and five boards.

The Kings (10-9) were led by Malik Monk, providing 30 points and eight assists off the bench on 12-of-17 from the field. Kevin Huerter had 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Domantas Sabonis finished with 17 points, nine rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks, while De'Aaron Fox collected 11 points, five rebounds, five assists and three blocks.

On deck for Sacramento is a home matchup with the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. As for Phoenix, they play host to the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday as well.
