Thunder Defeat Blazers, 118-112
The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the host Oklahoma City Thunder, 118-112, at Moda Center on Sunday.

There were 12 ties and 11 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 12 points. With that said, Oklahoma City went on an 11-1 run in the middle of the fourth quarter to take control of this game. The Thunder recorded 13 steals to the Trail Blazers five, winning the turnover battle, 18-11. That turnover differential allowed the Thunder to take 12 more shots than the Blazers. Oklahoma City also outscored Portland in the paint, 56-42, and in second-chance points, 21-11.

The Thunder (37-38) were led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, collecting 31 points, two rebounds, three assists and four steals. Jalen Williams totaled 23 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Josh Giddey generated 17 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and two blocks, while Isaiah Joe led the bench with 20 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals.

The Trail Blazers (32-42) were led by Shaedon Sharpe, tallying 29 points, five rebounds and three assists. He was the only starter in double figures. Drew Eubanks totaled seven points, 10 rebounds, four assists and six blocks. Nassir Little led the bench with 28 points and six rebounds. Keon Johnson compiled 14 points and five assists.

Portland has to play again on Monday, playing host to the New Orleans Pelicans. As for Oklahoma City, they return to action on Tuesday in a home matchup with the Charlotte Hornets.
