Morton, who continues to deal with a lingering shoulder issue that limited him last season, will target a return in July. The 6-foot-2 senior appeared in 10 games last season, throwing for 1,754 yards (182-of-392), 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Morton should have plenty of time to get up to speed before Texas Tech's 2024 season opener.
