ANALYSIS
Houston was successful in curbing BYU's passing attack, as Retzlaff had one of this worst passing performances of the season. He offset that with some quality scrambles out of the backfield, resulting in 57 yards and two touchdowns. After faltering late, the Cougars missed the Big 12 title game and future CFP aspirations, but BYU exceeded all expectations thanks to a solid year from Retzlaff, Treyson Bourget transferred to BYU with the intention to start this season, and if he decides to stick around, he could create some competition for Retzlaff in camp.
