2023 Fantasy Outlook
The son of Jason Taylor and nephew of Zac Thomas, Mason played neither position of his older relatives but rather was drawn to the tight end spot, where he shined as a freshman last season. Taylor snared 38 passes for 414 yards and three touchdowns in 2022, finishing third on the squad in all three categories. With both Kayshon Boutte and Jaray Jenkins gone, Taylor is the second-leading returning receiver for a Tigers squad with championship hopes. Taylor still has areas where he can improve, including in the red zone, where he has the size to fend off defensive backs and the athleticism to beat opposing linebackers to spots. Taylor averaged 10.9 yards per grab but will look to get stronger and improve on his yards after the catch as well, which should not be a problem if he can get into the gym with his famous football elders. Will play against Arkansas
Taylor (ankle) is playing Saturday against Arkansas after going through warmups with no issues, Wilson Alexander of The New Orleans Advocate reports.
ANALYSIS
The presence of Taylor should represent a huge boost for LSU on the passing attack, as he's a safety blanket for quarterback Jayden Daniels. During his lone full game of the season, Taylor hauled in all four of his targets for 39 yards.

Jayden Thomas is one of two Fighting Irish wideouts to put up big outings in Notre Dame's season opener against Navy and is worth a look in fantasy leagues if he's still sitting on the waiver wire.
