PICKS TO CLICK
Oshae Brissett Over 13.5 Points+Rebounds (-120 bet365)
Maccabi has not been great to us this season. They have utilized some curious backcourt rotations, but it's mostly the volatility in usage all over the roster, as it seems a different player seemingly steps up every Round. However, T.J. Leaf -- who has been cooking lately -- will sit out Friday, which gives a nice floor to the rest of the frontcourt.
Brissett won't see center minutes, but his ability to fill both forward spots will help his cause. He put up at least 18 points two times over the last 10 Rounds, which is why I'm entertaining a mini-ladder despite a risky floor. The safest option appears to be the combination prop, because anyone with Brissett's skill level who gets 25 minutes can simply fall into it.
Spencer Dinwiddie Over 12.5 Points (-115 FanDuel)
Spencer Dinwiddie 15+ Points (+115 bet365)
Dinwiddie came up one point short for us last time around, but I'm pot committed now. He looks very similar to Kendrick Nunn out there, scoring effortlessly when in attack mode, and we just need to see him get comfortable doing that more often. Dinwiddie dropped 15 points in a half against Barcelona, and although he was quiet after the break, that upside speaks volumes, and I'll keep going with ladders -- especially in a matchup against a fast-paced Baskonia team.
Codi Miller-McIntyre Under 13.5 Points (-128 FanDuel)
We will wrap up with everyone's favorite segment -- the under section. The first one pains me because this man has been so profitable for us, but he should no longer have to carry as much of a load. Jordan Nwora -- per RotoWire's EuroLeague Injury Report -- is set to return from a lengthy absence, Chima Moneke should be back in the mix and Devonte Graham could make his Red Star debut. That all saps some minutes and usage for Miller-McIntyre. He logged heavy minutes over the last month or so, and event 3-to-5 more minutes on the bench and him going back to focusing more on facilitating is enough to make me think he falls short here.
Duane Washington Under 16.5 Points (+105 bet365)
This one is a little more tenuous I do admit. Washington's usage since Carlik Jones went down has been unfathomable. In the last two games he got up 17 shots, which is some of the most volume in the league. However, the diehard EuroLeague fan in me just doesn't buy into a number like this when Jones is now the only factor unavailable.
Partizan's roster has no shortage of alphas -- see for yourself on RotoWire's EuroLeague Depth Charts page -- among Jabari Parker, Sterling Brown, Tyrique Jones, Shake Milton, Nick Calathes and Aleksej Pokusevski, not to mention someone like Vanja Marinkovic who gets up shots from the perimeter and soaks up minutes. Washington has been on a tear and has earned his opportunities, but one slow start is all it takes to sap some usage when there are so many other capable options.
