Josaiah Stewart

22-Year-Old Defensive EndDE
2025 Fantasy Outlook
A 2025 third-round pick out of Michigan, Stewart comes to the Rams undersized for an edge rusher at just 6-foot-1, 249 pounds. That didn't stop Stewart from accumulating 30.0 sacks and 48 tackles for loss over his four collegiate seasons. The depth chart behind starters Byron Young and Jared Verse has little competition for the rookie, who will be expected to step in and contribute early for a Rams team that's been exceptional at drafting diamonds in the rough for the defense in the past few seasons. The Rams selected Stewart in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 90th overall.
ANALYSIS
A Michigan product by way of Coastal Carolina, Stewart is an interesting test case between production vs tools. In four seasons, Stewart had 47 tackles for loss and 30.0 sacks. He is also small for an edge at 6-foot-1 and 249 pounds with 32-inch arms. The Rams have seemingly found their groove in identifying defensive talent in recent drafts, though.
