The Ravens signed Miller to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Miller spent the entire 2024 campaign on the Ravens' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. It wasn't until Week 16 against the Steelers when Miller was elevated to the Ravens' active roster, and he ended up playing in four of Baltimore's last five games (including its two playoff games). He caught all five of his targets for 45 yards across those four outings and provided crucial depth at wide receiver due to injuries to Nelson Agholor and Zay Flowers (knee). By signing a futures contract, Miller will be on the Ravens' 90-man roster for OTAs, minicamp and training camp, and will work to earn a spot on the active roster for 2025 campaign.

Miller began the 2021 season with the Texans but was cut in October. He spent most of the second half of the year on the Steelers' practice squad and appeared in only one game for the team. He signed a reserve/future contract with Pittsburgh in January and will compete for a role during the offseason. Although the Steelers lost JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Washington and Ray-Ray McCloud during the offseason, it seems unlikely that Miller will have a significant role in the offense after appearing in just three games between his two teams last year.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Season could be in jeopardy
Texans coach David Culley said he was "hopeful" Miller would be able to play this season after he suffered a shoulder injury in Saturday's preseason game, Aaron Reiss of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The injury was initially described as a slight dislocation, but Culley's comments Monday suggest the team may have gotten grimmer news since then. Miller does have a history of shoulder issues, which may be playing into the coach's hesitance to guarantee the receiver would be back any time soon. In his absence, Keke Coutee will likely handle the first-team reps out of the slot for Houston.
