Logs two carries in win
Brooks had two rushes for 15 yards in Sunday's 44-10 win over Baltimore in Week 5.
ANALYSIS
Brooks was one of five running backs for the game and played 11 snaps. Houston won its second consecutive game while running the ball more than passing it, which may explain why so many backs were active. Brooks had been a healthy scratch Weeks 1 and 3 before suiting up the last two games.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Part of Mixon-less RB room
Brooks is one of five running backs that made Houston's 53-man roster after the team placed placed Joe Mixon on the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Brooks' role will likely come on special teams, but it's still noteworthy that he's part of a backfield mix that suddenly has a potential path to playing time on offense through at least the first four weeks. Brooks would likely need to leapfrog at least one or two of Nick Chubb, Dameon Pierce, Woody Marks and Dare Ogunbowale to play snaps on offense, but none of those players had more than 332 rushing yards at the NFL level in the 2024 regular season.
