A fifth-round pick in 2024 out of Wake Forest, Carson played only six games as a rookie due to shoulder woes that eventually required surgery in December. He looked healthy during the offseason program but suffered a hyperextended knee in late July that's expected to sideline him 4-to-6 weeks. With Trevon Diggs and 2025 third-round pick Shavon Revel both looking iffy for Week 1, though, Carson could be leaned on for significant snaps early in the season, assuming he's healthy.
