Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Washington was a sixth-round pick out of Illinois last season and made only eight appearances, logging one reception on two targets for 14 yards. With Drake London, Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud returning, Washington will be competing for snaps with KhaDarel Hodge. The Falcons moved on from Kirk Cousins at the end of 2024, letting first-round rookie Michael Penix start his career. It's Penix's team now, so Washington's connection with his new QB will be key to his success in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Healthy scratch vs. NOLA
Washington (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Even with Drake London (knee) sidelined for Sunday's game, Washington will be a healthy scratch for Week 12, with the latter seeing less playing time on offense as of late. With London and Washington inactive, the Falcons will go with five active wide receivers in Darnell Mooney, David Sills, KhaDarel Hodge, Jamal Agnew and Dylan Drummond. Washington's next chance to play is Week 13 against the Jets on Sunday, Nov. 30.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
A sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Washington joins Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud as new additions to the Falcons' revamped passing attack, which will be led by QB Kirk Cousins, WR Drake London and former Rams passing game coordinator Zac Robinson. At 23 years old, Washington is an older prospect who finished with 49 receptions for 670 yards and four touchdowns during his final season at Illinois and ran a 4.46 40 at his pro day. Given the lack of elite traits and the talent ahead of him, Washington is trending toward a depth role during his rookie campaign.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Mixing in with starters
Washington has been getting an extended opportunity with the first-team offense in practices leading up to Atlanta's preseason opener, per Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site.
ANALYSIS
Darnell Mooney's shoulder injury has created an opening on the outside across from Drake London. Ray-Ray McCloud continues to work in the slot, while Washington seems to be gaining momentum and could surpass KhaDarel Hodge on the depth chart if Washington has a strong preseason. Washington had only 14 receiving yards in his rookie season after being selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
