Rest-of-Season Projections
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Despite being a second-round pick in 2021, Eskridge has logged just 17 offensive snaps per game through two seasons, leading to 17 total receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown. It appears the Seahawks would like to use Eskridge as a gadget player with some kick-return duties. That will likely be the extent of his role in 2023 now that rookie first-rounder Jaxon Smith-Njigba joined DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett at the top of the depth chart, and there's no guarantee that Eskridge is even the team's No. 4 WR. On top of that, Eskridge is suspended for the first six games of the season. Read Past Outlooks

Suffers sprained knee
Coach Pete Carroll said Saturday that Eskridge (suspension) sustained a "legit sprain" in his right knee during Thursday's preseason game against the Vikings, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Eskridge suffered the injury while covering a kickoff Thursday. Carroll added that his recovery "could be a few weeks," which, if it comes to pass, will keep him out for the Seahawks' final two exhibitions. Eskridge also faces a six-game suspension to start the season for violating the personal conduct policy, so Seattle may not have his services again until Week 8 against the Browns.

News continues to churn out of training camps, including in Seattle where Kenneth Walker returned to practice Saturday.

Year 1 of Geno Smith as the Seahawks' starting QB was a rousing success, and with WRs DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett and RBs Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet at his disposal, a repeat is in the cards for Smith.

Bijan Robinson might be the top fantasy asset in the 2023 NFL Draft, but Jahmyr Gibbs is with him in the first of nine tiers.
Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
Eskridge was considered a reach in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and producing just 10 catches for 64 yards and a touchdown over 10 games as a rookie didn't help his cause. While he failed to distinguish himself as the No. 3 wide receiver over Freddie Swain, Eskridge did receive some designed plays, as evidenced by his four rushes for 59 yards. The 5-foot-9, 190-pound wideout has 4.40 speed and should get opportunities this season, but even if he shows flashes, he'll likely be frustrating for fantasy managers in an offense that already features DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Noah Fant.
