2025 Fantasy Outlook
Following four productive seasons in Miami, Holland signed a three-year contract with the Giants ahead of the 2025 campaign. The Oregon product will immediately be tasked (along with fellow newcomer Paulson Adebo) with helping to improve a New York secondary that largely struggled last season. Holland should be an every-down presence on defense for New York, as his versatility and athleticism are strong fits for defensive coordinator Shane Bowen's scheme. Read Past Outlooks

Holland (calf) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated injury report.
ANALYSIS
Holland was able to play in Sunday's 26-14 loss to the Saints, recording two solo tackles and a pass defensed, while being on the field for all 62 of the team's defensive snaps. He'll have two more chances to increase his participation at practice prior to Thursday night's matchup with the Eagles.

Holland faced an injury-riddled 2023 season, limited by issues to both knees. Positively, he didn't require surgery in the offseason and since declared himself to be fully healthy heading into the final year of his rookie contract. He proved himself as a productive player immediately, though he flourished under defensive coordinator Vic Fangio's system last year (when healthy) in more of a hybrid role between traditional and box safety. The primary example of this was his ability to create turnovers, highlighted by three forced fumbles and a pick. Fangio has moved on to the same role with the Eagles, so it will be interesting to see how Miami opts to deploy Holland in 2024. Regardless of exactly where he lines up, he'll be a cornerstone of the defense and will be productive from a tackling perspective.
Holland has emerged as a plus starter since joining the Dolphins as a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, with 95 tackles, seven pass breakups, 1.5 sacks and two interceptions across 17 games. There's a chance he could improve his standing in IDP formats in new DC Vic Fangio's system.
Holland started slowly as a rookie, producing just eight tackles in his first four games, but his pace in the final 12 games was 61 tackles on 728 snaps, which would prorate to about 84 tackles per 1,000 snaps. In his second year, there’s a chance Holland improves on that per- snap tackle rate while maintaining his otherwise encouraging sack production (2.5) and coverage activity (two interceptions, 10 passes defended).
The rookie second-round pick seems destined for an immediate starting role in Miami, given the team's decision to cut Bobby McCain. The Oregon standout's speed could lend him immediate IDP value, as long as he's able to adjust to NFL gameplans without missing a step.

The Dolphins are not expected to franchise tag Holland this offseason, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Holland had a relatively down season in 2024, as his missed tackle rate spiked. However, he is still projected to be one of the top safeties available in free agency. Holland will be entering his age-25 season, meaning he should be in line for a substantial contract both in terms of length and average annual value.
