24-Year-Old Defensive EndDE
Detroit Lions
2023 Fantasy Outlook
It was a forgettable rookie year for Paschal, who missed most of last offseason with a sports hernia injury that delayed his professional debut until Week 6. The second-round draft pick ultimately recorded just 16 tackles, two sacks and four quarterback hits over 10 games. Entering the 2023 season, Paschal has rotated in behind starting defensive ends Aidan Hutchinson and Charles Harris during training camp, so there is hope he could see a huge jump in snaps and counting stats in Year 2. Paschal (hand) was not listed on the Lions' injury report Tuesday, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Paschal was forced out of Sunday's win at Minnesota early with a hand injury, but it doesn't look like the issue will force him to miss any extended time. He figures to resume a rotational role on Detroit's defensive line Saturday.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Paschal could have a big role in Detroit in the years to come, but the second-round rookie has missed most team preparations for the 2022 season due to a sports hernia injury that dates back to his days at Kentucky. Even if he works his way back to the field at some point this fall, Paschal's upside is likely some sort of rotational role as a rookie.
