The Colts have sent mixed messages about his potential role with the team in 2025. He recorded career highs across the board, with 52 combined tackles, including 8.5 sacks. He also forced and recovered two fumbles. The 2021 first-round pick could be a candidate to reach double-digit sacks with another year in defensive coordinator Gus Bradley's scheme, as Indianapolis' defense as a whole ranked fifth in the NFL with 51 sacks in 2023.

Aiming for double-digit sack total
Paye is aiming to reach double digits at a minimum in sacks in 2024, with a goal of 12-to-15, Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports. "I had 4.0 sacks as a rookie, 6.0 as a sophomore, and now 8.5 in my third season," Paye said. "I definitely want to get at least 10.5 sacks this year. I'm really shooting for 12-to-15 sacks, but double digits is the goal at the end of the day."
