2025 Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Tuimoloau's prototypical size (6-foot-4, 265 pounds) makes him an easy to project fit within defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo's scheme, especially after he totaled 12.5 sacks last year at Ohio State. The only true cause for caution in projecting Tuimoloau's rookie year is the fact that the Colts have Kwity Paye and 2024 first-rounder Laiatu Latu entrenched as starters at defensive end. Tuimoloau boasts the requisite skill set to demand more than a rotational role, but it's possible he won't face such an opportunity until Year 2. Read Past Outlooks
Colts add standout Round 2 DE
The Colts selected Tuimoloau in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 45th overall.
ANALYSIS
Tuimoloau (6-foot-4, 265 pounds) is a prototypical three-down defensive end who should prove a viable starter in the NFL. For now, the Ohio State product will likely fill a rotational role, because Kwity Paye and Laiatu Latu will be tough to displace from the starting lineup anytime soon. If Tuimoloau has to play in a DE3 role for the Colts, then he'll likely prove overqualified after torching his way to 21.5 tackles for loss, including 12.5 sacks, last year.
