Ya-Sin (lower body) was not listed on Wednesday's estimated practice report.
ANALYSIS
Ya-Sin was forced to leave the Lions' Week 7 contest against the Buccaneers due to cramps, but the 2019 second-rounder has had extra time to recover thanks to the Week 8 bye. He started in the Lions' two games prior to the bye, though his playing time on defense likely will decrease, as Terrion Arnold (shoulder) appears to be on track to play against the Vikings on Sunday.

Ya-Sin was brought in to supplement cornerback depth with Marcus Peters likely out of Baltimore's future plans. He'll be on his third team in as many years after starting his career in Indianapolis and joining Las Vegas in 2022. Ya-Sin played in 11 games for the Raiders and recorded 45 tackles while breaking up seven passes and holding opposing passers to a 5.5 YPA on attempts to his coverage. He profiles as the starter opposite Marlon Humphrey in the Ravens' secondary and with such little proven depth behind this duo, look for Ya-Sin to be an important part of the unit for better or for worse.
Ya-Sin enters the final year of his rookie contract with completely new surroundings after being traded from the Colts to the Raiders this offseason. He's projected to compete for a starting boundary role at cornerback alongside Trayvon Mullen and Nate Hobbs, who primarily manned the slot last season.
The 2019 second-round draft pick has struggled in coverage as he allowed a 105.5 passer rating and two touchdowns last season, according to Pro Football Focus. He'll likely be the third cornerback and possible nickel back in the defense and the Colts will be counting on a significant improvement his third season.
Ya-Sin, who the Colts took in the second round of the 2019 draft, logged 62 tackles, five pass breakups and an interception over 15 games as a rookie last season. Ya-Sin experienced some growing pains in pass coverage, as he allowed 9.7 yards per target and a 69.7 completion percentage, but he'll look to improve in that facet of coverage in 2020, while retaining his starting cornerback role.
Ya-Sin (6-foot, 192 pounds) doesn't possess great recruiting pedigree out of Temple and mostly showed average athleticism aside from a 39.5-inch vertical, but his 32-inch arms indicate good press potential and he was the best defensive back on a strong Temple pass defense that held opponents to a 56.9 percent completion rate and intercepted 19 passes last year. The second-round draft pick could get playing time early in the season in nickel and dime packages and emerge as starter later in the year at nickel back.

Ya-Sin visited with Ravens on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Ya-Sin was a key part of the Raiders' secondary in 2022, though he was forced to miss the last five games with a knee injury. He has only two career interceptions across 52 contests but has at least seven pass breakups in each of the last three seasons. Marcus Peters is a free agent after spending the last two seasons in Baltimore, which could explain its interest in Ya-Sin.
