Tyler Loop

KickerK
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Loop was the second of two kickers drafted this year, going No. 186 overall to Baltimore. He made 83.6 percent of field-goal attempts and 98.4 percent of PATs in his four seasons as Arizona's kicker, albeit with a slight downward trend that saw seven of his 15 career misses occur in 2024. The Ravens released Justin Tucker less than two weeks after drafting Loop, leaving the rookie as the only kicker on the roster, at least temporarily. It's a situation that should equate to fantasy value even if Loop has some rookie-year struggles, as Baltimore consistently ranks among the league's highest-scoring teams whenever QB Lamar Jackson is healthy. Impresses coach at minicamp

Coach John Harbaugh was impressed by what he saw of Loop during the Ravens' rookie minicamp, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
"It was good to see it. It was good to hear it," Harbaugh noted of rookie sixth-rounder's kicking during the minicamp. "I think as much as anything, it's good to hear a kicker, and the way the ball comes off his foot is impressive." Following the release of Justin Tucker on Monday, Loop -- who was first kicker drafted in the Ravens' 30-year history, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN -- appears poised to assume the team's placekicking duties, though look for depth at the position to be added, with Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic noting that Baltimore is expected to sign UDFA John Hoyland (Wyoming).

Set to inherit starting gig
KBaltimore Ravens
May 5, 2025
Loop will likely be the Ravens' kicker this season following the release of Justin Tucker.
ANALYSIS
Tucker is coming off the worst season of his NFL career, converting just 73.3 percent of his 30 field-goal attempts in 2024, and he remains the subject of a league investigation due to off-field allegations of improper conduct. Loop, selected in the sixth round of the 2025 Draft out of Arizona, may face competition in training camp, but he now becomes the favorite to handle placekicking duties for Baltimore in Week 1.
