That made it something of a surprise that he was able to land just a two-year, $10 million contract with the Titans in the offseason, but he'll be tasked with stabilizing a unit that struggled in 2024 and will pair with another steady contributor in Amani Hooker as the safety duo in Tennessee. He saw almost 200 fewer defensive snaps in 2023 versus one year prior, and with the team adding both Nick Scott and Jordan Fuller in free agency, his time in Carolina could be coming to an end after this year. If Woods' production continues to dwindle, he may continue losing playing time as the season goes on.
