GOALIE
John Gibson, ANA vs. DAL ($7,900): Gibson has been excellent at home this season with an 8-2-4 record and .928 save percentage. Meanwhile, the Stars are coming off a loss to the Knights and have scored more than two goals just once in their last four games. With just four games on the slate, Gibson is a better value play than the red-hot Mike Smith ($8,300) or Matt Murray ($8,100), who's a game-time decision.
CENTER
Evgeni Malkin, PIT at CHI ($6,700): Malkin's scored just eight points with a minus-9 rating in 11 career games against the Blackhawks, but keep in mind for most of his career the Blackhawks were very good. The Penguins should be the clear favorite, and Malkin has just as much upside as any of the top four most expensive centers.
David Kampf, CHI vs. PIT ($3,400): With Artem Anisimov potentially missing another game, Kampf will once again center Dominik Kahun and Patrick Kane on the second line. He notched an assist against the Jets and has played over 16 minutes in each of his past two games. Given his current opportunities, Kampf is a better value play than Dylan Strome ($3,800).
WING
Johnny Gaudreau, CGY vs. PHI ($7,600): He's the most expensive winger but for good reason — the Flames are at home, expected starter Anthony Stolarz is still inexperienced, and Gaudreau was on a seven-game point streak before getting shut out by the Oilers. Gaudreau, who grew up a Flyers fan, has scored nine points in seven career games against them.
Matthew Tkachuk, CGY vs. PHI ($6,300): With the way Tkachuk plays and how the Flyers have been challenged by management to show a little more toughness, you know Tkachuk's going to be in the thick of things all night. The rough-and-tumble winger is scoring over a point per game this season and averaging over two shots on goal. The Flyers' penalty kill is the worst in the league.
Oscar Lindberg, VGK at NYI ($3,000): Lindberg's on a hot streak with a goal and three assists in his past four games after going eight games without a point to start the season. The Islanders can be a tough defensive team, but the added bonus for Lindberg is Paul Stastny, who's been practicing and considered a game-time decision. If Stastny plays, he'll give Lindberg and Tomas Nosek ($2,800) a small boost.
DEFENSE
Mark Giordano, CGY vs. PHI ($6,200): The Flames captain returns after serving a two-game suspension, and prior to that had scored five points in two games. He'll return to his usual spot on the top power-play unit, and with the Flames' firepower, they should be able to dominate the Flyers' atrocious penalty kill. Giordano has a whopping 29 points in 29 games this year.
Shea Theodore, VGK at NYI ($5,300): He has three assists in his past four games, including one on the power play. Though his production continues to be inconsistent, Theodore has failed to register a shot in just six games this season, providing some fantasy value even if the Knights have trouble scoring. He's one of the few defensemen worth picking in this matchup.
