Maksum (undisclosed) is scheduled against Tagir Ulanbekov for a flyweight fight at UFC Baku on June 21, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Maksum (undisclosed) will drop out of his scheduled bout with C.J. Vergara due to injury, per Nolan King of USA Today.

Maksum lost to Charles Johnson via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
What a disaster. Entering as a -300 favorite and undefeated as a professional, Maksum dominated Round 1 and was awfully close to earning the stoppage. Then it all fell apart. He didn't appear to be noticeably tiring over the course of the final ten minutes, but Johnson just outworked him and presented a level of physicality that Maksum couldn't match. With the fight clearly tied at a round apiece, Azat landed just 14 Round 3 strikes compared to 42 from Johnson and was mounted as the final bell rang. This a huge setback for a guy that had the potential to make a run at 125 pounds. If there's any consolation to losing his undefeated record, Maksum will at least walk away with a $50,000 bonus after this matchup was awarded Fight of the Night honors.
