The decision to drop down to welterweight didn't work out for Hermansson, who suffered his third KO/TKO loss in four trips to the Octagon. He had a bit of success with his jab early, but soon ate a big right hand that compromised him and had Orolbai smelling blood in the water. You would have to be blind to watch this fight and not see Pyfer was the more gifted competitor, but timing, smarts and experience can go a long way in this sport.
