Gets right back in win column
LightweightUFC
October 25, 2025
Klein defeated Mateusz Rebecki via majority decision (29-28, 28-27, 28-28) at UFC 321 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
It was a strong response from Klein, for two rounds at least, on the heels of his unanimous decision loss to Mateusz Gamrot in May. Klein dominated the first 10 minutes on the feet, posting a 63-42 edge in significant strikes landed, including several massive blows. Round 3 got real dicey after Rebecki landed two takedowns and dominated from top position, but Klein was able to survive. Of greater concern was the fact Klein appeared to suffer an ankle injury. He was carried from the octagon by his team following the bout and referee Marc Goddard raised his hand while sitting on the stool because he couldn't stand up. Hopefully it's not a long-term issue.

Looking to get back to winning ways
LightweightUFC
September 5, 2025
Klein is scheduled to compete against Mateusz Rebecki in a lightweight fight at UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 25, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Klein was on a seven-fight win streak before UFC Vegas 107, when he lost to Mateusz Gamrot. Both he and Rebecki are coming off 0-1 starts to 2025, with the latter having fallen to Chris Duncan.
Unbeaten streak snapped at seven
LightweightUFC
May 31, 2025
Klein lost to Mateusz Gamrot via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Klein entered unbeaten in his past seven fights (6-0-1), but virtually all those wins came against lower-level competition. He got a step up here against Gamrot and it didn't go well, to say the least. Klein is known for his takedown defense, but he was dragged to the mat on six occasions here, resulting in 8:45 worth of control time for Gamrot. The fact they were using the small cage at the UFC Apex certainly didn't help Klein any, but the result likely would have been the same with the bigger Octagon. Klein is a good fighter, but there's a clear gap between him and the best the lightweight division has to offer.
Gamrot next

April 24, 2025
Klein is scheduled to compete against Mateusz Gamrot in a lightweight fight at UFC Vegas 107 on May 31, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Klein has a chance to enter the UFC's top-10 lightweight rankings by defeating Gamrot, currently No. 7. The latter may be coming off a split-decision loss to No. 6 Dan Hooker but had won each of his previous three fights, making Klein's upcoming bout likely a difficult one.
Runs unbeaten streak to seven
LightweightUFC
September 28, 2024
Klein defeated Roosevelt Roberts via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Paris.
ANALYSIS
This was supposed to be a cakewalk for Klein as a -1000 favorite, and for the most part, it was. He was consistently able to get inside and damage Roberts despite giving up seven inches in height. Klein also dominated from a grappling standpoint, landing a pair of takedowns and racking up 8:51 worth of control time. Now unbeaten (6-0-1) in his past seven fights dating back to March 2022, Klein is going to continue to roll through fringe-roster opposition. He needs a better opponent his next time out.
New opponent for Sept. 28

Klein is slated to fight Roosevelt Roberts in a lightweight bout for UFC Fight Night on Sept. 28, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Klein was originally set to face off against Nikolas Motta, but Roberts will step in for UFC Fight Night in Paris. Klein has went unbeaten in six straight fights and holds a 22-4-1 record, with his last victory coming by way of unanimous decision against Thiago Moises.
