Draws Randy Brown next month
WelterweightUFC
March 6, 2025
Dalby (undisclosed) will take on Randy Brown in a welterweight matchup at UFC Kansas City on April 26, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Dalby hasn't competed since a loss to Rinat Fakhretdinov last June that snapped a four-fight winning streak. He was supposed to have a chance to bounce back in the fall against Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos, but was forced to withdraw due to undisclosed reasons. With that issue seemingly behind him, he'll now look to Brown, who is coming off a loss to Bryan battle in December. Dalby will be giving up big height and reach advantages to Brown, who also has the statistical edge in both striking volume and defense.

November 5, 2024
Dalby will no longer take on Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in a welterweight bout at a UFC event on Nov. 9, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Winning streak snapped at four
WelterweightUFC
June 22, 2024
Dalby lost to Rinat Fakhretdinov via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
ANALYSIS
It was another solid performance from Dalby as a hefty (+280) underdog. His constant willingness to stand in the pocket and go blow-for-blow with his opposition seems to give him a chance most every time out. Dalby can get away with it given that he has yet to be stopped in 30 professional fights. He struggled a bit with the wrestling game of Fakhretdinov but did a decent job of not absorbing too much damage on the mat. Dalby appears to be the rare fighter that is legitimately improving with age. He will be 40 years old in November but looks better than ever. Dalby entered having won four in a row, and his roster spot is plenty secure despite this setback.
Scheduled against Fakhretdinov
WelterweightUFC
April 4, 2024
Dalby is scheduled to compete against Rinat Fakhretdinov in a welterweight fight at UFC Saudi Arabia on June 22, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Dalby will look to continue his positive momentum dating back to 2022. After defeating Claudio Silva in what turned out to be the Brazilian-Brit's retirement fight that year, he logged three consecutive wins, making him enter the Fakhretdinov setup 4-0 across his last four bouts.
Stops Bonfim hype train
WelterweightUFC
November 4, 2023
Dalby defeated Gabriel Bonfim via TKO (strikes) at 4:33 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
ANALYSIS
This run Dalby is on deserves far more credit than it has received to date. In the midst of his second run with the company, the Dane, set to turn 39 years of age in exactly two weeks, has now won four straight. This was by far the most impressive of the group. Entering as a +450 underdog in enemy territory, Dalby struggled in the early going, as expected. Yet as was also expected, he kept coming. Simply put, Dalby doesn't quit. He's not the most talented welterweight on the UFC roster, but guts and determination can go a long way. Dalby took everything Bonfim threw his way and continued to push forward. The latter eventually caved. Common sense would dictate this run is going to end for Dalby sooner rather than later, but then again, few thought he'd be in this position.
Set to take on Marretinha
WelterweightUFC
August 23, 2023
Dalby will take on Gabriel Bonfim in a welterweight bout at UFC Sao Paulo on Nov. 4, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport reports.
ANALYSIS
Dalby is coming off a huge upset win over Muslim Salikhov via unanimous decision in his latest fight June 17, struggling in the first round but ultimately securing the victory after improving as the fight went on. The soon-to-be 39 year old is on a good run after winning four of his previous five bouts, but he'll handle a tough test against a younger, more explosive opponent in Bonfim.
