PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

FORWARD

Cristiano Ronaldo, RMD at APO ($14,500): Who is going to stop this man in Cyprus? If you can plug in enough value plays, Ronaldo should make for a solid lock, which only leaves one spot left to fill.

Dries Mertens, NAP v. SDK ($9,500): Mertens has world-class finishing ability, and he is playing in a very favorable spot. He had a tough time out last time in Shakhtar with just seven fantasy points, but a return home should prove to be an impactful difference. Mertens has three goals and four assists in his last seven starts for Napoli, so his form is not in question.

Jose Callejon, NAP v. SDK ($8,500): Callejon is an important attacking player for Napoli, and his price does not quite indicate that. He offers a cheaper alternative to Mertens, with better playmaking ability, but he does not have the same goal-scoring capabilities. In a slate where it is hard to find a clear favorite, Callejon provides a good way for getting exposure to a team that is expected to win by at least a goal.

MIDFIELDER

Kevin De Bruyne, MCI v. FEY ($12,000): De Bruyne is the main man in Manchester City's midfield. He will be over most set pieces, and his three assists on the campaign indicate his quality in such situations. Manchester City are expected to win by more than two goals, so KDB has a very high probability of setting one up.

Isco, RMD at APO ($8,500):Isco is the wildcard play Tuesday, as he is in a perfect spot to succeed, yet he may slip under the radar given the talent on the slate. Madrid should prevail by multiple goals, and it would be a big surprise to see Isco fail to get involved in at least one of the goals.

Marek Hamsik, NAP v. SDK ($7,500): Hamsik has yet to record an assist or a goal this season, yet he still averages 16 fantasy points per game. His defensive productivity provides a very safe floor, while his duty over penalty kicks gives him added upside. He has scored just one goal this year, but that is not due to a lack of shots, averaging about three per game, and his finishing ability has been proven over the years.

DEFENDER

Elseid Hysaj, NAP v. SDK ($5,500):Faouzi Ghoulam is out injured, so Napoli could use Hysaj as its more attacking full-back. Hysaj is averaging 16 fantasy points per game without a goal or an assist in the first four games of this year's Champions League, and if he adds an attacking bonus to his defensive stats, he will soar past value.

Marcelo, RMD at APO ($5,500):Marcelo has remained underpriced on FanDuel for some time. The Brazilian has yet to add an assist or a goal in this Champions League campaign, but he had two assists in last year's tournament, so the odds are that he grabs an assist sooner or later, and this matchup signals that it may be Tuesday.

Danilo, MCI v. FEY ($4,500): If he starts, Danilo should prove to be a wonderful value play. Manchester City should press forward for most of Tuesday's game, and that requires the full-backs to get forward plenty in order to provide service for Sergio Aguero or Gabriel Jesus.

GOALKEEPER

Ederson, MCI v. FEY ($5,500): It's hard to find a value play at goalkeeper, so Ederson should be your man. He is in a great spot to succeed, as Manchester City beat Feyenoord 4-0 on the road last time out. Ederson is not guaranteed to get many saves, but he should get the clean sheet, which provides for a safe floor.
